| Priory Parkside White | 4 |
| Under 9 Reds | 3 |
The final league game of the season was away at Priory which has traditionally always been a tough fixture for the Reds.
The game started poorly for the reds and we were soon 2-0 down following a couple of defensive mix ups.
We gradually got back into the game and a free kick from Jack B got us back into the match.
We had found our feet by this time and started to dominate the game and had many chances to draw level but couldn't take any of them.
A break away goal for Priory came before half time when we went missing in defense.
The 2nd half continued in much the same way as the 1st half ended. Jack E in goal was pretty much a spectator as we battered away at the Pirory goal with no success. After a flurry of corners we finally made a break through with a nice headed finish from Jack B.
Priory scored another break away goal following a bit of a scramble in our area to make the score 4-2 which had followed a couple of unsuccessful penalty appeals for us.
Jack B scored again from a free kick to get us back within one goal but we couldn't find an equlaiser and the score finished 4-3 to Priory.
Another close game that could have gone either way and a good display by the team yet again.
We have played well all season and games we have lost have been by the odd goal on the whole. All players should be proud of their progress this season and we will hopefully continue to improve next season.
Star player was Jack Butler for another solid all round performance
