Football is played at Alconbury by all ages from Under 6 to senior football and encompasses, mini league, colts football, girls football and both Saturday and Sunday senior sides.


Over 170 children play football for Alconbury Colts. Quite an achievement for a small village and something which we are proud of.
In 2002 just 3 of our managers had the Junior Team Managers Award. Today we have 18 FA Level One coaches and have gained Charter Standard Club status.
We are fortunate to be supported by Alconbury Sports and Social Club where all our home games take place. The facilities we enjoy are the envy of many other clubs. Thank you ASSC!!
We have not won many trophies so far (Hunts u11 Mini-soccer Tony Gavin Cup 2003, u8 fair-play awards 2004 and 2005), but as the years go by the standard of football played by our teams is improving and, most importantly the boys and girls enjoy their football!
